Well, pill crushing is fatal, if you want to know why, read this post to the end. =P

Ok.. It's been a long time since i last blogged, had lots of homework to do you see. So, today went to school for History. When i was walking to school, a car passed by, and some of you know what car. (Some of you...)

When i reached school, i went to 1H thinking that i may be a little late, but i wasnt that late. Ms Santha came after awhile. We did filing.

My spacebar button =(. Don't feel like posting anymore because i nidda find a way to fix my spacebar button. If not, i would have to press Ctrl+v everytime i write a word.

Well, so, i better copy&paste why it is dangerous to crush pills.

Previous research has shown 80% of nurses in care homes resort to crushing tablets to help residents take medicines.

An estimated 75 million prescriptions a year are associated with adverse drug reactions.

Drugs that should not be crushed include the breast cancer drug tamoxifen and morphine.

Crushing tamoxifen could result in the person who is breaking up the tablet breathing in medication, which can be particularly dangerous if they are pregnant. Crushing morphine could lead to a fatally fast release of the drug.

Nifedipine, the angina and blood pressure drug, can cause dizziness, headaches and an increased risk of stroke or heart attack when crushed up.

In addition, special coatings can mean a drug is absorbed over a long period of time, so a patient only has to take a tablet once a day, rather than several times a day.

If these medications are crushed, the drug is released a lot quicker than it is designed to be.

The experts say patients and their families are sometimes crushing up pills on the advice of their GP or nurse.

The guidance, which was originally commissioned by Rosemont Pharmaceuticals - makers of liquid medicines, warns nurses and GPs that they could be legally liable and charged with negligence if they advise a patient to crush up a pill or open a capsule.

Alternatives

David Wright, senior lecturer in pharmacy at the University of East Anglia, who led the group that put together the guidelines, told the BBC: "Crushing pills increases the risk of side-effects, of the patient getting a large dose of a drug which should be released slowly, or a drug being cleared from the body too early before it can do anything.

"Fatalities can happen, although they are not that common."

He said doctors needed to check if patients were happy to swallow pills when they first issued prescriptions, and at follow-up appointments.

"The vast majority of medicines are available in liquid form, patches or using an inhaler."

A spokeswoman for the Medicines Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), said: "If elderly patients are unable to swallow such preparations whole, there is usually an alternative formulation such as an oral liquid or a suppository to administer their medication.

"It should always be drawn to health professionals' attention that these "modified release" tablet products must be used in accordance with the instructions provided, otherwise the potential for uncontrolled delivery is present."

New Edit: OMG!!! I fixed my spacebar button!!! I took the spacebar button out and i saw the rubber thing which was supposed to hit the sensitive thing came out =P But guess what... Haha, so sian nowadays. Today, in the morning I used the comp all the way to around 12pm. Then, I stopped to eat lunch and rest.
Continued at around 2. Played MapleStory, now I'm level 32 at Cassiopeia. Then, I did 2 maths exercises. After that, my cousins came and I was still at the comp. I went downstairs to play with the R/C helicopter. Hehe, quite fun.
Now, they're still here and I've nothing better to do, so I'm blogging once again as I try once again to revive this blog. Probably going to change my blogskin some other day, I'm way too lazy.
So, now I'm typing some stuff with one hand as I'm eating my ice-cream and I'm doing some stuff which I dwanna tell you.

I feel like reviving this blog all of a sudden. So I changed my blog skin and I'm going to change the link in awhile. Yesterday was teacher's day and the last time seeing Ms Tan. Had some fun yesterday.

Most parts of the performance was boring. After the performance, had to wait for Wesley with Jonan to go back to CPS. We walked around the whole school finding where the prefects held their meeting or whatever. Chin Young told us that they were at the AVA room. So, we went there and waited for Wesley. Then, went back to CPS. We took a taxi, cos its faster. Wesley was supposed to be paying 1/2 of it. but when we were there, Jonan ended up paying for the whole ride.
My primary school life sucks, so it was boring there and after following some of my friends, i went home. So, yeah, that's all.

I'm real bored now. Might be going out later. If not I think I'd play some games or do some homework.

It has been a LOONG time since i last blogged. There were 3 problems.
1. Computer always hang (gonna spoil soon)

But now my computer seems fine for awhile. The NCC camp was ok-ok and tiring sia.
This should be a messy unplanned post. You might not understand alot of things.
1st day
I think i forgot ALOT of things on the 1st day. So i'll just state what i remember. I went to school ate 6:30 and reached there at about 7. Met DQ there oni. then soon more n more ppl came. and if im right after quite a few ppl came we go up to the library outside there, put our bags. Den dunno what happen, den put our bags in "room 52" (not sure why its called room 52) den fall in outside the library if im right.

Den we listened to the events that will happen in the camp. Then i think we had our Total Defence bronze test. Went into the.. Room. And.. uhh.. I think Mr. Lim was telling us more abt total defence before the test (so that we could pass) and he also let us talk (aka cheat) during the test. Anyway it wasn't hard, I'd say it was quite simple.
Then.. after that im not sure what happened. I think we went to the parade square for something. Not quite sure. Den dunno what happened. xD I have STM (Short term memory © by Vivian).
I think we set up the tents first. Set up liao dne lunch
Lunch which was the instant noodles we brought, and some canned food. I only ate my noodles cause lazy cook the canned food.
After lunch dunno do what le >.<
Lala the rest of the day i forgot is what. Oni rmb dinner. But i also forgot what we ate. Then we go bring our stuff go the tent, or was that before dinner?
Anyway, after the above, I think we had our treasure hunt was quite dark then so we took out the torchlights and shined them around the whoel school in search of clues.
Soon, after i think finish le. Den go nightwalk. It was lame. Go walk out of school to Yishun Park and go one round ard it and came back all sticky. So had to bathe lo. Bathe liao den we had our movie. Slither. It was some sort supposed to be gruesome and makes ppl puke. There were some certain things in it. Not advisable to watch it.
Then watch for dunno how long at ard 2am i think the teacher paused it and we went back to our tents to sleep.
I slept much more than i expected - around 3/4 hours.

2nd day
I think i rmb much more on this day.
Woke up at around 5+ and had to get prepared at 6:30am I just needed to wear my shoes and im ready. Early in the morning we had out PT. I would say its tiring but it was still ok. Then.. im not really sure what happened. I think it was the basic drills for 2hours. Then I think we tore down our tents and put our bags back in room 52.
For lunch we had some food (again i forgot). We eat finish oredi then i think it was the LineControl plane thing. The plane was on a string and just went in circles. Was quite boring.
We then had uhh.. Waterbomb? I think den the whoel things onli lasted 15 mins. and almost everyone got wet. i did, mostly on the left side of me.
Then i think we just changed and up to the room to debrief us and thats it. The teacher wanted to show the movies and onli some of us go watch. i just went home. My father was supposed to pick me up. But we were dismissed early so I just went home by myself.

NEWater day
Early in the morning just woke up and used the computer. Den at ard 11+ went out to meet LJH, DQ & Leon to go to Tanah Merah mrt meet the rest of the ppl. We took go there liao hor saw sum of the NCC den wait for the others. After that Bryan late lo. Den wait for him liao go the NEWater place there for the 2nd time. So sian liao. Only abit of things change. Then finish liao go home lo. Den on the train play some music. (Including maple BackGroundMusic. I had all xD LJH like the aquarium one so i play giv him listen.) Den reach hoem at abt 6+ liao. Den sian.

Still have alot hw i nv do lah. ARRR so damn frustrated. I too lazy do hw le.

BlahBlahBlah... I got forced to update >.< So i update lo. ytd only one very interesting thing happened. The Jonan & WenLiu thing lor. During CME the jonan oredi told ljh, sum other ppl and me that he was abt to give smth to WenLiu. He spent $38.55... If his mother sees that receipt, she'll definitely kill him. Blah blah... nothing happened. NCC juz learn how to march and all that. The beginning that time the sun was damn hot sia. We stand there have 5 ppl fall out (including me) to rest den after that go back to normal lor. ok i end here. please tag.

ok... lets see... im gonna find a blogskin after this cos im bored looking at mine...
well. ok i havent been updating much cos i lazy to type and i have nth to update. so lemme start on thursday's IMT training. On thursday, LJH & me were released early wif the other NCC cadets... We 2 skipped maths.. and since people were going mr ang postponed the test to another date. we changed into our no.4 (green) and get ready go to the camp (forgot the name liao). Once we reach there... we all went out of the bus to fall in... den we go to a briefing room. sum guy briefed us on what to shoot, how to shoot and other stuff. Soon, we were going to the IMT shooting room... i was number 13 (LJH say unlucky number -_- but nvm) i think LJH is 15 and DQ is 16... we laid down and got ready to shoot. the room was not more than 10m in width (i think) were were sumwhere at the middle when shooting so we were abt 5m away frm the screen.
The screen thing shows a lil tiny "canadian bull" like the one below.

We were to shoot 4 bullets as close as possible to each other

Example: You shot 4 bullets and it turned out like this.

If im right. "A" will be automatically discarded. "B", "C" & "D" will be left. They will measure the distance between "B" and "D" because they are the furthest apart. And theres your final measurement. In order to pass, you need the measurement of "B" & "D" to be below 16cm.
There were 5 rounds. Each round, you can shoot 4 bullets. The first was the practice round and i scored 9.3cm. The second i scored 14+ cm i think. The third i fail badly, the fourth i failed by 0.6cm and the last i passed by 0.2cm =D

On Friday, nothing much happened i would say... although many things did. Well, on friday... we had NCC again >.<>.<

Today, LJH, WeiBin & me go GuanTing house for geo project. At the beginning we were juz finding diff websites and favourit-ing them. Soon after, we were taking turns to find webs. Eventually found a web which prob is few thousand words about the thing we are researching.
So after that we all started playing liao lor. (spent 9/10 of the whole time playing)

Today horr, during sports day the 1E monitor halfway ask me go run, because like need one more person. if not will get disqualified, so i go run lor.(so impromptu) i gonna run the 4 x 400m de i was the 2nd runner (not 2nd place).
After start, the first runner run, run, run everyone passed the baton thing oredi and he was still dashing towards me. i looked in front and got ready. then, when my hand felt the baton i just grabbed it and started running. i tried to run as fast as possible but still was last in position >.< the last 100m i tired liao lol, cos the 300m i chiong (i run very slow)... den after i passed the baton to the 3rd runner liao i go sit down liao... and rest den eventually, lose lah of course. haii...
After the event over le.. i was walking to mrt den saw sjh, kw, valent and jinjun walking so i walk wif dem... dey wanted me go somewhere eat wif dem.. i refused.. and now im regretting, i should have gone. im really regretting. im now stuck at home with nothing to do. (Please leave a tag, thx)

Lit project 1

Today afternoon i and my group and my group member's friend's group go do project together at Sun Plaza... My group leader is Terrence, Weiling, JinJun and me are the group members =) as for WeiLing's friend, PeiYu... She is the group leader of her group and her members are Haikal, GuanTing & Jim =)
So... i at 1:50pm go Sembawang MRT... den found Haikal =) Soon after.. we saw WL & PY come lor... Terrence will be coming later, GT, JJ & Jim all not coming today...
At first, we all go 7-11... buy some stuff den we go library and found the silver sword book... den do abit liao the librarian say we all clog up the passageway den we wan go mcdonalds liao Terrence call me say he reach sbw mrt liao so i tell him go mcdonalds outside wait for us lor... den we come le Haikal, Terrence and i go buy food... i bought 2 large fries for my group... Haikal bought a whole meal for himself... and Terrence bought 2 drinks... one for me and one for himself (WL oredi bought drinks at the 7-11 mah.. so he nv buy for her)... After buy liao all start doing le...

Homework + project + 1 week = stress
each time i hear the word homework, school, project or anything that can relate to that i will get very stressed up >.< and im still LONELY... im so lonely.. i have nobody.. for my owwwwwnnnn... lol... =P
Well i didnt evendo even half of the homework... and half of the holidays are gone... many stuffs to do and whats more... the lit project my group are gonna do on thurs and its totally not planned well... AT ALL... i wldn' be suprised if either one of us doesn't turn up... cos like thurs terrence 10am got cca till dunno what time and the other days i think is either of us cant... die liao...

Today i go back my pri sch for reunion =) (again)...
In the morning i go sch at abt 8:40+ den saw many frenz... 11am we all got "kicked out" of the school cos it close mah...
Den ALOT of people in my class go causeway point... Alot of girls, Aliff (head prefect), Daven (My fren), Wesley*, KaiChong*, TszPing & me. All clog up the train and the escalator... once we reach the causeway point we split into 2 groups go our diff ways. Some girls, Aliff, Daven and me go one way and the rest the other... My group go walk walk den reach LongJohnSilvers to eat lorr... i and daven nv eat... Aliff, Emily, HuiXiang & Yvette eat. (Huixiang&yvette de meal eaten half way*) Den after a long while all eat finish le we all go walk walk... den reach the timezone where the other group is... den dunno what le we all go take neoprint (exept wes, KC, TP who were at timezone play and i follow them but nv take =P) After a LONG while at the neoprint place we go to a bench and they sort out the neoprint lor... then my other frenz came le (Amos ,WeiLi, Ken, Weiliang*, Esmond) i follow them while the rest sort finish the neoprint... they all oso haven eat (like me) den go KFC to eat... i ate the 2 pc chicken... (Amos, Ken, WL at KFC*) After that we go timezone where we ALL met =)

Today we collect report card... i got so bad grades lorr... its sucks! i still havent shown it to my father... im too scared... i might be banned from using the comp until i get the "good grades" which is... eng/sci/math/geog/lit/D&T must get 70+... eng & sum other subject (which i dont dare check... cos my father is at home..) got below 70% >.< dont be suprised if i dont blog for a few months... but my chinese nid oni 58% (cos i suck at chinese... but now my eng sucks more...) and i got 70% exact for my chinese... -_-" my languages SUCKS, seriously... the D&T oni got 60+ den lit and geog i forgot =P im so sad... hope i can giv it to my mother without my father knowing (which is totally not going to happen...) im dead T_T Well... now i tok abt today (have alot things to say)...
Today morning... during the pledge my stomachpain halfway (gastric type of pain)... damn pain lorr.. almost fainted sia >< I was like blurr blurr den suddenly like blackout... but den i managed to run to teacher ask go toilet... once i reach toilet like not pain liao lor... i den juz wash up and go back...
After that, D&T nth interesting... (juz LJH flirting) den Lit... i starting to like lit liao lorr... last time i hate (dunno why) the teacher actually said smth which made a lil sense (to me)... Den after recess come back class for sci lesson... this lesson totally sucked (to some people) then after giv out sci test and all... teacher gave out THE REPORT CARD. Some people cried... i could have... but i chose not to... i learnt to control my tears over these lil things... but when i get mad............... (ask jonan if you wish to know what will happen) den maths... the teacher was late and he gave some questions blah blah blah nth interesting... Den NCC... during the muster parade... RH, April and issit Wenliu? were at the 2nd floor (they seem to appear when we doing muster parade de lor (means cannot fidget or move... cant turn you head either)... After muster parade got 5 min water break... LJH and me go to cafeteria find them lor... tok like few seconds den go lerrs... after that not much larr... juz do drills, PT and stuff... but at the end like 2 ppl were leading this cheer lor then we shout loud mahh... the beside the master sergeant asked us to lower our voices lorr then the IC juz muttured the word bus3^rd den we all move away and continue our cheer... after that go home liao...

After some time... i feel better... but tmr is gonna be a looong day (for me)... i might get lonely again tmr >.< tmr i oso nid find a new display foto for my msn oso (one more schoolwork t' do)
Well for the past few days my view of Ms See became better... some how her teaching din change much but it seems that her teaching became more interesting? (thats what i think =P you may already liked her teaching since the first day)
So... these 2 days i can tell that LJH became MUCH more famous... and i seem to have lost a friend... (did anyone tell him this blog? hope you din...) yesterday RH laugh until like almost die ler bcos of him mah... (became more famous) he built the foundation over the months and he started to build the first floor of his skyscraper... today he built many more floors...
btw... during the end of the holiday i might not be blogging alot cos i would be chiong-ing my homework at that time =P

Today, in the morning hor i come to sch saw karwee and sjh doing the IN newspaper thing.. i saw dem le remember my compre ques. in the IN paper haven copy onto fullscap so i took out den started copying.. soon, senhou say he go b.ball court play b.ball den awhile later i oso go.. terrence and sen hou there while emily watching.. i walk there liao not long RH go b.ball tok wif emily.. like she nvr see me like dat den she turn her head saw me -_-" den RH come ask me call her jiejie first den emily oso come ask me -_- after call liao i go play play b.ball
First 2 tries i score =) den after that very lan liao... so i pass to terrence each time i get. terrence de b.ball dam pro one... after all that i go back liao den go back... after that go class first lesson sci... the test for me very hard lorr most of em i anyhow do or guess one.. sure fail >.<
den for geog, mspravina give back the geog test... i got 38/50... well.. i did expect smth lower den 40... den after geog got eng.. eng mdmsue first give us vocab test... i think i get 5, 6 or 7 over 10 de... i dunno alot of thing...
den after recess, at class mdmsue do the distinction thing la and other crap... den CL... the teacher gave our compo thing back i got.. urrm.. 14/20... lol... den chinese nid do alot of zuo ye... it took up the whole lesson...
After dat got PE... during PE horr... have to do high jump... i do all nv hit so heng... budden the last one... 90 cm i do liao the girl there all clap hand -_- den i walk past dey dunno say what my jie cannot do i can... so ps leh... den "run" away... go walk to the pole there then go "play" b.ball although i nv even touched the b.ball... -_-" den not long after the bell rang can go home liao i put on my shorts and went to buy a drink =) and den go back home horr saw wesley on the way oso so I MADE him go mrt with me... tok tok tok den reach liao, we go popular den go library. he took one book out then i go home liao. =).

Today i in the morning use comp until around 10+... den my mother wan me do hw (i still have eril to do mahhs >.<)...
Den i take out yesterday my mother borrow de book... den continue using comp =P after a long long while at 12+? den i shut off comp, eat lunch and read the book (contain 138 pages and i havent even read 1 of 'em) so i chiong story book till abt 2pm... by then i sian le... read 70 pages liao.. i verii tired den play comp til' 3:30+ den stop, go bathe cause i going my aunt's place awhile lorr. i bathe finish in the car i chiong read again... chiong until reach my aunt's place still reading...
READ READ READ... till 6+ den finish (so overall take ard 4 hours read book lols) so happy liao. =). den go home and eat, and do my eril... i write the summary out but then the others i wan print... until NOW (now=when i was typing) still havent finish =P... i better go do le =P bbz

For me every 2nd of the month is Anti-Jim day! im bad... i know...
Anyway today very boring and tiring day... well... today i found out sitting in front of jim and beside jonan isnt THAT bad.. but is still BAD... as long as i dont turn behind and look at that irritating boy. My ears suffered from the way he laughs, the words that came out of his mouth even the things he does (tapping pen on table).
Today, during NCC i saw RHjie & JiaMin looking at the NCC there on the 2nd floor while i was at the parade square.. i was in line mah so cannot fidget, must look in front and cannot even smile...
After NCC, i walk go mrt there... was oredi 6+ lor.. on the way home, near the school there almost get hit by motorcycle =P i was look right den left den walk as i turn right again mah den saw motorcycle... i was almost there liao so i run faster =P still 2m apart la.. very far.. after that i listen to music and walk home... reach home abt 7 le lorr... so tired...

Tiring tiring day

Nobody forced me to change my mind abt Kar Wee but i did today...Blahhs...
Today morning the terrence "invite" me go play b.ball so i go den play play found out dat kar wee not as bad as i thot... (but i still a lil bit dun lyk him)
i play till pespire le (i pespire easily)... den i go back dey still continue... after dat Design & Tech... made my urrmmm... LIGHT THING... complete le =) den so bored at the last period of D&T de china ppl come le =) dey join us for the rest of the day...
After finish le Ms See reprimanded us for being late to her lesson by 10 mins... blah blah blah... not lyk our fault... she still say nid oni 5 min to walk der... (5 mins to pack, 3 mins to line up ouside and 2 min to walk back mahhs... 10 mins...
den recess and the rest of the classes not so bad....
Finally, NCC =( very tiiring 1... but today not as bad =) Got our badges and other stuffs. A 6+ i going back home... the first train going to yishun and stop derr i juz go on the stop-at-yishun train... i saw my aunt there =) lols tok awhile reach yishun le... she go liao... the rest of the day nt so interesting le...

Today, after sec sch... i was walking to the mrt when i saw pei yu, wei ling, vivi and pei ling. de wei ling tok to me den i respond after dat she ask me going to pri sch for reunion... (i forgot today got reunion =P) after i remember liao den she ask me go wif pei yu. but i dun wan... dunno when i rmb she say she go home first den go pri sch worr.

On the train i oso see my classmate frm my pri sch der (jiang Ning)
Den later reach sembawang wesley go out and walk down the stairs, while pei yu on the other side standing on escalator. den wesley wan go macdonald first, jiang ning, my classmate i toked abt juz now, followed us. he bought macwings, a coke and fries. while i bought ice milo (it was when they changing frm morning to afternoon meal, so we get both =P).
Den hor we both walk to our pri sch. den at my pri sch (CPS, Canberra Primary School) i saw a few familiar faces =D. First i went up to hall. it was the afternoon session liao so the p1 and p2 all at hall having sum game-y thing. i dun disturb liao den go down saw amos (my fren) few others. when going down hor saw the principal she ask us whether we looking for Mr Lee (Ex-Math teacher, BEST TEACHER EVER LOR.. although he gives detention and blah blah HE BEST LOR without him maybe my maths wun get so good derrs) she say today his b'dae lols and he retire yesterday le.. everyone so sad... but den she oso say he will continue teaching to the end of the year or smth larrs.
Den suddenly one whole group of sec 1s come lerz. Nigel (hate himz... but he got same fone and fone colour as me) Marcus (a bad boy) Tsz Ping (Marcus's fren) Esmond (indirectly or directly my fren).
After they come ler Nigel announce he got soccer ball and den they all chiong to the small soccer field... soon enuff more and more ppl come ler... den i was waiting for my fren, also Amos's fren lar, Wei Li (Good boi boi) Ken (Good boi boi) Jie Kang (Good boi boi). after dey come ler all say hello lar long time no see lar... all the crap lars =)... After dat horrs we all go up hall lar and come down.
Ex-Head Prefect dunno where he appear le i forget (i si bei forgetful ones) wif a group of girls walking wif hims (like VIP liddats, btw he in my class) Heesh nme ish "Mhd Nur Aliff" He not so tall not so short, not so skinny not so fat ders. After he come hor the whole of my class (Nigel not, Esmond oso not worr) all go ard him (like celebrity).
Den after that the head prefect go up hall find my ex-form teacher (Mrs Chew.. or issit Mdm Chew? =P i think mdm) den we all in one line walk in between her (she sittin down at the side of the hall) and students (sitting on the floor filling de whole hall). den we make our way outside HOD room and Ms Vasu (my ex-eng teacher.. she oso sum HOD lor, she very bad one.. but better den my current eng teacher) We all raid the whole outside of the HOD room lorrs. tis was when i found out that Aliff was in NCC... like me =)... but he land ders i air den after visit ms vasu we all go down and den all disperse everywhere... lol...
Den after that sum ger ask all come back because the principal wan us to visit lol... den we go in general office (got air con so shuang). den everyone go deep in the general office find Miss Rani's office (Principal office...)... first time i see lor so nice... everyone "wow" summore got the camera of the front gate. Den principal tok GOOD things abt us all lar... blah blah blah... den after dat all go out.
Den after tis we all disperse everywhere. den hor i at the small football fieldy place i saw my fren Kai Chong aka KC (he urmm like beri strong strong liddat lor he bu shuang will fight ders), sum other guy frm Canberra SECONDARY dunno whether was ex-CPSian anort wif his *ahem* gang (consists of lyk 5-6 ppl?). the guy fight wif my fren (KC) dunno what happen lorrs den the kc take off his specs or smth den dunno lor. Wei Li tell teacher lor den all the 3 most fiercest teacher come lor (all males... both my fren and that guy si bei sway sia). teacher coem liao bring dem to general office the whole of my class (6.1) all wait outside for "the results" den comout le the guy and kc add ea other hp lor. (This is hereby not a good thing). Then after the head prefect, other girls wei li, amos, ken, jie kang and me go sunplaza eat. after that go play basket ball den go homes ler... tired to type N-E-more... lols...
